WHAT IS THE NORMAL HARDNESS OF WATER?
With a German hardness of 8 or lower, we call it soft water. The water hardness is then optimal. At 8 to 12 DH we speak of water with normal hardness. If the water hardness is higher than that, we call it relatively hard water or hard water. In this case, you may experience problems such as limescale. If the water hardness in your area is harder than 12 DH, it is advisable to take measures. For example, you can place a Amfa4000® in your home to prevent limescale.
